Cookies are nothing new: all of us who visit websites already have many cookies from various websites stored on our computers, tablets and mobile phones. The only new thing is that new legislation, the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), has brought changes regarding how visitors are informed about, and consent to, their use.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or on your device. Other technologies, such as the browser’s local storage and tracking pixels, work in a similar way; in this notice we refer to them collectively as cookies.
This notice applies to the truebar.si website and the Truebar™ web application (web.true-bar.si). The controller is VITASIS, informacijske tehnologije, d.o.o., Partizanska cesta 8A, 1381 Rakek (“Vitasis”, “we”).
2. Legal basis
We use strictly necessary cookies, without which the website or service does not work, without consent, as permitted by Article 157 of the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2). All other cookies (analytics and advertising cookies) are set only if you give us your prior consent. We process personal data collected through cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. Which cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies enable sign-in, the secure operation of the service, payments, and remembering your cookie choice. The website and the application do not work without them, so they cannot be refused.
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website (e.g. which pages they visit) so that we can improve it. We set them only with your consent.
Advertising cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads on other websites. We set them only with your consent.

Google Tag Manager is the tool we use to load the analytics and advertising cookies listed above; it does not itself store any cookies that would identify you.
4. How to manage your consent
On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent. Until you click “Accept”, we use only strictly necessary cookies. Refusing does not affect your use of the website or service.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, sign-in and some features may not work.
5. Changes to this notice
We update this notice whenever the cookies we use change. In the event of material changes (e.g. a new category of cookies), we will ask for your consent again.
